jump start session to prepare for the upcoming school year
Below are pictures of me, my life, & my likes….I use
these images to introduce myself to my students at
the beginning of the school year (I show them on the
smartboard & printed to see which appeals to certain
students) and give my students 5 minutes to study
them….The students are then asked to recall 3 things
about me…and are invited to share at least 1 fact about
themselves. This is an excellent opportunity to start
building trust with my class, intro everyone, test
memory skills (essential to Special Ed) and learn about
how my students participate all in one sha-bang!
I love how many questions are asked from one easy
activity as well…..sooo many lessons in 1
